MAMA, MAMA, PAPANO KA MAMUYA!? A Virgin Lab Fest Bikol – Atado. 2026 entry written by Helena Francine Ebio, this play explores womanhood, motherhood, and the choices women are asked to make in a changing society. What does it mean to become a mother today? In a generation where women have more choices than ever, is having a child still an expectation, or a choice? Through intimate stories and honest conversations, the play examines the hopes, fears, pressures, and possibilities surrounding the decision to have—or not have—a child.

A collaborative built from a love for theatre.
DALAN grew from years of watching, supporting, and eventually working alongside the people who make theatre happen in Bikol.
Along the way, we saw an incredible community of artists, arts workers, and storytellers, and the need for more opportunities that allow them to keep creating here.
